Luis Villa is VP of Legal at Sonar, a company that helps protect code quality and prevent code security issues. In that role, Luis counsels Sonar’s category-leading AI team.

Luis also serves as a board member at Creative Commons and Open ET. During his career, he has been a top open source lawyer, a programmer, and a community leader. He has previously worked in the legal departments at the Wikimedia Foundation, Mozilla, and Greenberg Traurig, and served on community-elected boards at the Open Source Initiative and GNOME Foundation.
