Eddan Katz is an AI policy and product governance leader specializing in responsible AI, regulatory strategy, and risk management for emerging technologies. As a Research Fellow with the LexLab at UC Law San Francisco, researching and teaching AI Liability. He is also the Head of Policy & Government Affairs for Encypher, a start-up leading content provenance solutions. He was the first Executive Director of the Information Society Project at Yale Law School, was the International Affairs Director at the Electronic Frontier Foundation, led the AI Governance Platform projects at the World Economic Forum, and worked on AI Policy at Meta.
