    LexLab organized a discussion about what CryptoPunks and Bored Apes can teach us about NFTs and copyright. This one-hour webinar featured: Brian Frye (Spears-Gilbert Professor of Law at the University of Kentucky College of Law); Shane Glynn (Adjunct Professor at UC Hastings College of the Law); Tom Hågen (crypto legal scholar and NFT expert); and Victor Wang (Co-founder of Inkly & former NFT lawyer).     Hack Homelessness

    November 8-14, 2020 Virtual Hackathon

    The second-ever Hack Homelessness took place virtually over the span of a week. 50 participants from all over the U.S. and the world came together to find technology solution to some of the most pressing legal issues surrounding homelessness in San Francisco.

    Deepfakes Panel

    A panel of technology and policy professionals discussed the spread of deepfakes and potential counter measures. Adjunct Professor Shane Glynn moderated the panel discussion with Kathryn Harrison (Founder & CEO of FixFake and the DeepTrust Alliance), Brandie Nonnecke (Founding Director of the CITRIS Policy Lab at UC Berkeley and Fellow at the Harvard Carr Center for Human Rights Policy), and Clement Wolf (Global Public Policy Lead - Information Integrity at Google).

This event featured Mary Stone Ross, co-author of the ballot initiative that became the CCPA; Lothar Determann, UC Hastings professor and specialist in International Data Privacy; Alexandra Ross, Director of Global Privacy at Autodesk; and Rehan Jali, CEO of Security.AI.

    Hack Homelessness

    Our first ever Hack Homelessness hackathon connected teams of lawyers, developers, designers, builders, and thinkers. A diverse group of approximately 60 people joined us to work collaboratively in search of solutions to some of the legal issues confronting those experiencing homelessness in San Francisco.
