Join us for Demo Day! LexLab has partnered with the Justice Technology Association, gener8tor, and Village Capital to launch a groundbreaking accelerator program supporting justice tech startups. Our Demo Day event will feature the eight justice tech startups in our Fall 2023 accelerator cohort presenting their products to a panel of investors and justice tech evangelists. It will also feature students from the "Building a Justice Tech Startup" course who will get the opportunity to pitch their startup ideas to our panel of judges..

Data Privacy Day with WISP and LexLab was a networking and panel discussion focusing on the intersection of privacy and data security. Our panelists discussed privacy and security in 2023 and beyond, focused on operating models that work today and can adapt to both the rapid and dynamically changing environment. LexLab organized a discussion about what CryptoPunks and Bored Apes can teach us about NFTs and copyright. This one-hour webinar featured: Brian Frye (Spears-Gilbert Professor of Law at the University of Kentucky College of Law); Shane Glynn (Adjunct Professor at UC Hastings College of the Law); Tom Hågen (crypto legal scholar and NFT expert); and Victor Wang (Co-founder of Inkly & former NFT lawyer). The second-ever Hack Homelessness took place virtually over the span of a week. 50 participants from all over the U.S. and the world came together to find technology solution to some of the most pressing legal issues surrounding homelessness in San Francisco.

Adjunct Professor Shane Glynn moderated the panel discussion with Kathryn Harrison (Founder & CEO of FixFake and the DeepTrust Alliance), Brandie Nonnecke (Founding Director of the CITRIS Policy Lab at UC Berkeley and Fellow at the Harvard Carr Center for Human Rights Policy), and Clement Wolf (Global Public Policy Lead - Information Integrity at Google).

Our first ever Hack Homelessness hackathon connected teams of lawyers, developers, designers, builders, and thinkers. A diverse group of approximately 60 people joined us to work collaboratively in search of solutions to some of the legal issues confronting those experiencing homelessness in San Francisco.

Join us for a meet and greet with Patent, Employment, EH&S and Compliance counsel from Google and Tesla on April 9, 2021, at the noon hour. This in-house counsel panel will be moderated by Adjunct Professor Guh-Siesel.
