
Jess Ross is a 1L focused on IP and technology law. Prior to law school, she built a career spanning biomedical research and emerging technology. Most recently, she served as senior government affairs lead for an AI startup, where she worked on regulatory strategy and policy advocacy for AI-driven clinical trials. She holds a PhD in Neuroscience from the University of Cincinnati/Cincinnati Children's Hospital, where she was awarded the 2017 Presidential Medal of Graduate Student Excellence, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Stanford Medicine. Her expertise encompasses AI policy, biomedical science, biostatistics, and pharmaceutical regulations. She came to law school to develop legal mastery as a complement to her technical prowess.
