• Ricardo Álvarez-Ossorio Castro is a technology lawyer trained in both common and civil law. He graduated with First Class Honours from King's College London and passed the Spanish bar exam in 2026. Native in English and Spanish, he brings a European view of technology regulation to LexLab's work in the Bay Area, and he builds legal tools himself through agentic coding.

Most recently, Ricardo was an Associate in the New Technologies team at Addleshaw Goddard in Madrid. There he advised global technology, fintech, satellite, autonomous mobility and aviation companies on EU tech regulation, from the AI Act to export controls on dual-use technology, and drafted and negotiated cross-border commercial agreements, mostly alongside the firm's London and other European offices. Before that, he worked in Deloitte's Blockchain & Digital Assets team on regulatory submissions to the CNMV and ESMA, and trained at Uría Menéndez in London.

He also contributed to a chapter on classifying dual-use technology in Práctica Mercantil para Abogados 2026 (Aranzadi), and built Osso Export, two free AI export-control tools, at www.osso.global.

Ricardo also holds IE University's master's in Legal Practice and Technology Law, and is now an LL.M. candidate at UC Law San Francisco.
